    Default descr_skeletion animations?

    Hi all,

I'm playing the Britannia campaign and have been trying to modifying animations for Highland Nobles. After unpacking I could not find any descr_skeleton file for M2K.

Can anyone explain to me how I can attempt to substitute animations for 2HSwordsman without the .txt file?

Also.. all that being said.. I have never EVER been successful at modifying ANY of the unit animations for RTW, BI or M2TW... can anyone please help me figure out what I need to do to effect the changes in the descr_skeleton files??????

    THankee

I can't find it neither, i guess unlike the Crusades and the Teutonic campaign, the unit animations in Britannia campaign is just the original one. So may be you can use the original descr_skeleton.txt.
PS: I'm from russia, so please forgive my poor english.

    Hi all,

To mod animations (in vanilla, not sure about Kingdoms) you need Caliban's
    unpacked animations directory from here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=96522

I assume you're trying to do this from a mod folder. You need to back up
    pack.dat, pack.idx, skeleton.dat, and skeleton.idx and then delete them.
The game will re-create them from the animations in Caliban's directory.
(This, of course, has to be put in the data/animations directory.)
Its been awhile but I think I remember you need to put this in your config
    file

    [utils]
    noanimdb=true

    to force the recreation.

To mod animations you can get some utilities from here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downl...o=file&id=1469

    There's a User's Guide included.

    Cheers,

    KE

KnightErrant would be the one to ask, or Alletun. KnightErrant has already stated that he doesnt know. The only way to find out is for someone to try it.
