I think fixed it.. No need for help anymore...
Anyone who has this problem that i had (Game crashes instantly at the first screen of the mod) should Reinstall their RTW.. I reinstalled mine at the C/Program Files/ Activision/ Rome - Total War.

Is Battles of Asia planned for MTWII?

It would be great because MTWII has much better graphics and animation.

But its is already good to have this "Shogun II: Total War" mod (this is how I like to call it!) for Rome: Total War...

No, there won't be a BoA for MIITW because of the very bad combat system and animations. It was decided when MIITW was released to make the future version on RTW. Sure, MIITW has better graphics, but RTW is more realistic.

Ok in order this is what I done.

I copied my main RTW folder and renamed it BOA.
I downloaded and installed BOA-V2 to Crogram Files/activision/BOA - Checked it and it worked.
I then downloaded the campaign to Crogramn Files/Activision/BOA - This is where it no longer works.
I then remove the campaign add-on
I reinstall install campaign add-on to Crogram Files/Activision/BOA/boa(modfolder) I then get a Dmb error or something.

Is there anything I may of missed out?

First, in your C:/Program Files/Activision/ there is two folder, right ? There is "BOA" and the original "Rome - Total War " folder, right ? If yes, that's no good.
You don't have to copy or rename your original C:/Program Files/Activision/Rome - Total War/ folder because BoA is modfoldered.
To be sure it would work, try this :


Create a new folder in C:/Program Files/ . Call it Battles of Asia - Total War.
Then go intro C:/Program Files/Activision/ and copy the folder Rome - Total War (this version must be fresh unmodified version of RTW, otherwise be sure you will have error message.)
Then paste this folder into C:/Program Files/Battles of Asia - Total War.
Then install Battles of Asia v2.0 and The Campaign add-on on C:/Program Files/Battles of Asia - Total War/Rome - Total War.
Tell me if it works or not.

Hello people! I very love shogun so i downloaded this mod.
+First day, it always CTD...but i tried to reload and after more than 4 times it worked!!!!..so happy!
+Second day, i was so sadly b/c it CTD again!!!!
