BoA - Bugs Reports

Someone help me i can't build boat although i built shipyard. Is it a bug or there are wrong with my BOA version?

I post my reply with hope that someone wiser may help me.
I installed Rome TW and upgraded it to version 1.5, and installed BOA due to the instructions. After copying the data folder for the campaign over the BOA/data, and playsing the quickfix over its "bugged" duplicate I started the mod. Everything goes well, I started with my favourite Shimazu clan, and here comes with the next turn a small army of rebels. I send my army to brutally slaughter the enemy. I pick the personal lead mod and....here comes the bug. Every time when I choose "Start Deployment" the game crashes and it trows me. I tried reloding as the instructions for such cases says...again same thing. I though that perhaps its the quickfix file, so I reinstalled the mod, put the campaign add-on, but didn't put the quick fix.
Start a new game again with Shimazu, and what you know, this time there is no such bug, I can lead my battles with no worries. BUT...there were 2 other bugs who came up.
First everytime I get a new general, he dies instantly in a "honorble death" and after some point at the turns the game starts to crush again.
Pls if there is anyway to stop these bugs, because I really like this mod and would like to play it

same situation as Tsume + my custom battles dont work (didnt try n mess with editing their locations), got ship yards but no ships, ect, ect... i hope v3 works out for every 1 but after finding this waiting forever to download and install it and then it doesn't work, well im disappointed and and give this mod a
good effort, great idea, but no actual substance

When starting a campaign ---> "file not found data/models_unit/BoA/samgensquaresmaedate.cas" Any help for me?

I can't say anything more... if you followed the installation steps, and if you have RTW 1.5 it must work. Then it appears that for people who have steam that often the mod don't work... I don't know why, and I don't know how to do. Sorry

Hey,
I just registered on this website because I downloaded the mod. I am glad to help with the Steam problem as I have the Golden Edition too. I sniffed here and there and found a command that, adapted to BoA makes the mod work in this version.

Right click on your Rome in Games Tab, select Properties and go to Set Launch Options... then paste the " -mod:BoA -show_err " without quotes. Et voila, should work for you like it does for me. ^^

Edit: forgot to add that after doing it you have to start the game with normal Rome: Total War exe, not the BoA one from mod

Another edit - the CTD while trying to start custom battle seems to be connected to the campaign fix for me. I tried playing BoA without it (So I had no Oriental siege options) and it worked. Just with Roman cities and so. Wonder if it could be helpful.

Hi, I can't wait to play the mod but after installation, I clicked the BoA shortcut and it said "cannot locace the CD rom and please insert the correct CD rom". I thought it was crack problem but I copied the crack 1.5, still didn't work. Can anyone tell did I miss something?

I solved the above problem but another annoying thing arose, I can't enter battles (both custom and compainge) because of crash. I'm totally out of breath T_T any helps?

Hi, I m new user. I've just installed the game BoA v.2.0 and it generally work. But when I accept marriage proposal or adopt general my new family`s member die. How do i fix this?

hi i installed everything but when i play custom battles when i press start battle it says sth like the memory can't be read and the game freezes.... why does that happen???

I too have been having a problem with CTDs in BoA. They happen whenever I try to load a battle - whether from the "Quick Battle" link, a Custom Battle, or when I attempt to fight a battle "in person" from the campaign map. There is never an error message, just a CTD. I have Rome TW Gold installed from the discs.

There is no question my system can handle the mod (6 GB Ram, Pentium duo 2.6 Ghz, Nvidia G210 with 512 MB video memory). The only thing I can think of is that the mod is somehow not fully compatible with Windows Vista 64 bit (as I had the mod installed on a Vista 32 bit system, and everything worked). Hope this is NOT the problem, or I'll have to pass on this great mod.

I get the same problem in XP.
I installed the mod, the campaign add-on and the quickfix, but custom battles don't work(the game just crashes while loading) and when I try to fight a campaign battle it loads but crashes when it zooms in toward my troops. (I think it's the general that is doing it, but not sure)

It doesn't give me any error message, just that it needs to close.

I play RTWG btw.

It's probably the corrupted coordinates for most maps that Hayami Kagemusha was in the process of fixing. Try playing on the maps that have a cross before the title (those you can not pick settlement type for).
