RTW Opinion Needed ...

after several months of playing m2tw i've become lil tired of this, so i'm again in "roman mood" to play it again!

but i'm looking for wich mod you guys recommend me to play, featuring:

- more than 1 roman faction (for possible civil war)
- many factions
- many provinces
- many legions

any opinions... ?? :hmmm:

Traditional hoplites are a "WTF?" and I've encountered a few weird formation bugs, but otherwise the mod is solid (and you still have the Brutii, Scipii and Julii factions in the Risk campaign.)

actually i'm wondering about that !

but i want senate be independent like vanilla, and make the purpose of the campaign become emperor, but not using vanilla, looking for mix of " new units, new skins, new features, map, factions" but when i say roman factions i mean like 2 max (senate + jullii)

XGM, altough if you want to have many Roman factions, you have to get a lower version than version 5, which has unified.

I would say SPQR 6.4 it really ticks all them boxes and the senate owns on that so you will actually get some worthile rome v rome battles.

actually i've installed spqr 6.4 seems nice, but with hard start... i've been attacked by all corners ..gauls,carthage,greeks ^_^ 1 turn !!!!

xgm has only 1 Roman faction, but it also has Roman Rebels, so you do get civil strife.

The 77BC mod has great Roman-on-Roman action also.
