happy ramadan to all muslims, I do have to admit it's a time of the year that I "hate".

Everytime, after sundown, during ramadan, when I go to a kebab business I have to wait more then hour because their are 5 families in front of me.

Quite a bit has passed since I last posted in these forums Surely this thread is the best for a brief return to activity.

My most warm congratulations to all my brothers and sisters in this forum (white wolf, jankren, ATP, MasterAdnin, Sher Khan, killerxguy and all the rest)!

May God bless us with a chance to grow spiritually.

It is night here now. So far I did not feel hungry or thirsty. However I craved for smoke and tea. Maybe I can drop smoking after all.

Surely; I quitted smoking during exams period a few years ago. Sometimes however (maybe once or twice a month) I still burn the paper after a good meal or dinner with friends or family, I must admit

So far so good, I just had a plate of shrimp pasta shoved under my nose so I get to enjoy watching my programs with a meal under my nose and a little over an hour and a half left until Aftar (7:20 PM here).

I'm sorry for the family you have so little respect for.

Like Adnin said, I wouldn't worry about it, I'd guess that you'd be exempt from fasting for a medical condition (afterall, we're not supposed to suffer greatly over this).

What little respect? I'm not allowed to eat, I don't force anything onto anyone else, I gave up my plate to someone who hadn't eaten all day (in this family, assuming they needed it more) and I went on fasting.

I heard from one of my proffessors, but isn't there an exception for those who must do heavy labor during the day and the sick? I guess you would follow under some exception.

Happy Ramadan for the Muslim members here

Yes, if one is unable to maintain their fast, they may break it. My grandmother for instance. She is around 70-71 years old. She is exempt from fasting due to the fact she needs to take medicine per day. It doesn't matter if you're old or young, but if you have to take medicine, then it is okay.
