RTR = RTR Platnium?

Hi. I have a question. I only started using mods for RTW yesterday and I started with the SPQR mod, but I gave up on it and decided to try something else. So I got here. I looked through the stickies and didn't find anything, so I downloaded RTR Platnium thinking that it's the same as the latest available version of RTR.
Is this true? If not please direct me to the thread where the mod is available.

Yes platinum is the latest version.

Or is there actually a set date?

We're very near to finishing the Mini campaign .... but no set date...

Notice also the mods and add-ons for RTRPE. They're very useful.

Right above there is a sub-forum for RTR Platinum called.... RTR Platinum. In there you`ll find a pinned FAQ and I think that this is the first answered question. If you haven`t checked the sub-forum until now, do it. There is a hotfix for v1.9 that you might want to install and there is also a pinned list with mini-mods for it that can be helpful(if those mini-mods are stil available ).

A bit of a historical perspective:

RTR 6.0 Gold - Runs on RTW v1.2 engine. Latest "official" RTR version. This version is no longer being worked on or supported.

RTR PE 1.9 - Community "Platinum Edition". Originated from RTR 6.0 Gold. Developed and supported by a group of former 6.0 devs+fans, using the latest RTW 1.6 engine, which means it requires BI. Lots of bug fixes, some new stuff, better AI, etc.

Over the last 2 years, most of the original RTR team has fallen apart.

RTR VII and the TIC mini-mod - Currently under development by an almost entirely new group of developers.

RTRPE requires RTW v1.5, not BI. The fact that you can play it with BI exe is a bonus, sort of speak.
