Default Interesting, MX Revolution Stutters next to cell phone.

I was just tinkering around and all of a sudden my mouse started stuttering badly. I could barely do anything. I first thought it might be the batteries but they are near full. Ran a quick search and noticed other people mentioned that their cell phones messed up their mouse.

It just happens that my cell was about 10" away from from my mouse and as soon as I moved it the mouse came alive again. Just thought I would share that in case someone comes across it.

Has anyone else noticed this before?

well, that would probably mean they work on the same frequency range... which is really common for many household devices. Usually its 2.4Ghz IIRC... like cordless phones, microwaves, wireless routers, and of course most wireless mice; most of them all use that frequency and hence you are likely to get interference if you have several of those devices working at once near each other.

I'm not really sure about cell phones though... there could be another reason

Yep, I've noticed it. It is signal interference caused by the phone. Just move the phone to the opposite side of the desk. (My phone charger is on my computer desk).

    Yep.

Having a phone near your wi-fi receiver will wreak havoc with the signal, too
