    Default Family and moslem affairs^^

Im now in the early 14th century (with Flanders), but none of my generals get marriage proposals anymore... And i didn't manage to find any princess, they also seem to be "gone"... I managed to keep my bloodline "clean" until now, but now my king (30 yrs) is the last of his line...

And, in general, i think that the Islamic factions are too strong. If i don't stop them myself, they usually overrun Europe, especially Egypt always becomes a superpower!
In my current game, i stopped a massive Dschihad on Granada (3-4 Moors Full-Stacks, 5-6 Turkish Full Stacks, more then 10 Egypt Full-Stacks) and drove the Moors out of Europe... So they stayed relatively weak, but in the East, Egypt and the Turks Conquered almost all of Europe and entered the former Polish/Hungarian grounds.
The Catholic/Orthodox powers always start fighting against each other... But the islamic factions are too much of a unit... Especially Egypt, with no strong non-islamic neighbour!

About the islamic overall superiority that's not always true, it's frequent to me (DLV 4.0.3) Byzantines or KOJ rule the southeast region, altough I agree with you that's very common to see Turks expanding a lot, but I really never seen Egypt as major force (well.. reality..).

But then repman implemented the great hording factions mod that, although a bit slow, is really working like a charm, in this Danish campaign I'm playing I was like "theeeere goes poor Egyptian people again", KOJ was smashing them turn after turn, but after losing their last settlement ahd horded, some years after I see the exciting message that Egypt reconquisted one city, and turns after it kept growing, on top of Crusaders, that now are hording! Yeah, that's good, and worths every 20 minutes I have to wait when a faction is sent for a walk

In my French campaign I have 12 regions and only 2 family members, they were reluctant to marry for most of the time and once one did he got one child and instantly the "Difficult birth" trait. I get a adoption proposal each turn but I decline due to rp reasons...

Maybe i am just unlucky but it seems different than to what it was in 4.03.

I would sooner the adoption function wasnt there but was replaced by more marriage proposals!

The amount of times a great general has died leaving no sons whilst the King is thinking of adopting some little usurper makes me a sad panda!

If you have 12 settlements and only 2 leaders and are avoiding adoptions for roleplay reasons (I do this myself; I try to keep my starting line intact as long as possible, not diluting it with a bunch of adopted sons) consider removing the difficult birth trait from your leader. If I was in that situation I'd probably start my game over.

Hit the ` button (to the left of the 1 on your keyboard)

    remove_trait this Difficult_Birth 1

if it mentions she is spoiled by the birth, or 2 if it mentions it would take a miracle.

I realize this will be considered a cheat by some, but without family members to build up, this game simply isn't as much fun. I've restarted many a game over dissatisfaction with my family line.
