    Icon8 How do missles calculate hits vs armour?

    *EDIT*How do missles calculate hits vs armour?

    I've set armour to 60 (which seems to be the cap) on my gothic knights and they're fighting nubian archers which have a missle value of 3 in my game. However they are still taking casualties at closeish range. On average about 5 when they have shot all their arrows.

    Now thats nothing really but considering the massive gap between the values i wouldn't expect them to cause a single casualty even at point blank range. The problem comes when i test my uber armour vs muskets at medium-long range (14missle, ap) cos they're getting slaughtered.

    These values don't seem to have any logic to them... I mean how can missle of 3 kill a guy in armour 60?! How do the two values relate to each other to work out if they cause a hit or not?

    ========================================================

    Also i have tried setting my longbowmen to have missle attack of 100 or something ridiculous and let them rip on musketeers who have no armour and i can still see a small majority being hit by arrows but not dying, instead they just play the deflect animation... wtf is going on!?

    A small chance doesn't mean it'll never happen. Unfortunately we don't know the exact calculation for the game.

    However, it's not that unrealistic really. If you hit a guy in the face for example chances are the best armor won't protect him.

    No thing is everything. Every thing is nothing.
