1.Llywelyn.......What is his super power.I've played as Wales and he's not very special.Or is he?
2.What is Englands emergent army?Irelands?Wales?(The book says each one has one.I haven't seen any for these three)

1. The Heroes in the Brittania campaign don't have any powers, only unique traits or a stack of units with gold/silver chevrons. Only the Crusades heroes have them.
2. England's emergent army actually depends on you. If you send Edward on the Crusades, theres a chance he can come back (or not) with Templar forces in tow. The Irish have King Brian at the start, the Vikings have King Haakon (spelling?), Welsh have King Llyweleyn and Scotland has, you guessed it, William Wallace.
I heard Llywelyn could get large armies of spearmen and archers.Perhaps without the use of settlements to recruit them.
I was thrilled to see the king of Sweden show up until I saw that he was age 59... wtf
"It is hard enough to remember my opinions, without also remembering my reasons for them!"
Friedrich Nietzsche
yeah. word.
by the way, llylewyn gets massive public order boost for your cities for each captured settlement.
the more you capture the more joyful your people are and its llylewnyn's exclusive ability.
or something like that.
read the manual.
personally i hate western factions that have no good halberd infantry like dismounted english knights or jannisary heavy inf.
: )
So the Irish Hero is your starting King Brian? That's it? Dang... Does he have any special abilities?
Is is me, or does the Irish faction seem a little less developed than the rest?
Irish and Welsh are a little less developed, simply because they have no great stories to pull on from that time period. I'd like to see a mod that adds emergent heroes/armies to the Irish and Welsh, would be a nice addition in my opinion.
Even so, the Irish and Welsh seem to be well built to fight off England if you use the units right.
I agree on the balance- I have had a much better game experience with Kingdoms- lost quite a few battles, but doing VERY well with Ireland
(of course I took the "Ironman" challange... spot on!![]()
Ok less developed? Welsh spearmen own. Morgwanna Spearman have humongous defence as well as merionyd spearmen. Gwent raiders are good when upgraded and are a kill if u know how to use them, the only downfall is the cavalry, but Teulus make up for the losses. And dont get me started on Saethwyrs.
Yeah, and with Ireland the Muire, Ridire, Lords Retinue, Mounted Calivermen, Calivermen, Ulster Swordsmen, and the Gallagoich (sp) all are great units. Heck even Gaeilic Archers armor upgraded are great units...also those Welsh axeman whatever their names are pretty formdiable. I love my Irish campaign right now. I also like the fact that when you take over a city or castle you can recruit some of that factions units if the culture stays right which gives your army a little flare. I married off one of my princesses to William Wallace, and got him fighting a guerrilla war in Northern Scotland.
He was rotting in Inverness, and was sick of not being used in the fight against Norway further North...hehehe.
Keeper of the FAITH
the only thing in kingdoms that pisses me off is that Baldwin doesnt have any hero ability...even Nur ah din got one
I could think of a few to be honest. Art MacMurrough Kavanagh (MacMurchadha Caomhánach), bane of the pale and the English of leinster, the rebel on their doorstep. Muircheartach Ó Briain who drove out Richard De Clare and destroyed English pretensions in tuadhmhumha. Domnall Ua Néill, surrendered his kingship to Edward De Bruce, and writing to the pope pouring scorn on the colonists and earning Edward II a strong papal rebuke. Calbhach Ó Conchobhair Failghe, Niall Garbh, Seaghan Ó Néill Aodh Rua Ó Néill, there are plenty to choose from.

To say that he does not have any powers is quite unaccurate. With his high chivalry and high command he is deffinitly a strong force. Combine with him a general with high dread and you have for yourself a very strong army of militia! or whatever the hell else you want.
The pleasure about a dream is that it's a fantasy. If it ever came real then it wasn't a dream.
are there new ratings that add to the battlefield now? Not just command?

Does Norway have more heros coming besides Haakon? Or am I waiting for someone that will never show? I thought there was a lot of famous kings from Norway.
If not, what description file do I use to change his age?
PS,
I love you.

Llywelyn's power is that for every settlement he captures he gets reinforcements. I typed the details into TWC wiki if you want to know more.
Brian has no powers, however he is a damn strong general.
Talking about Heros in the Britania Campaign, I'am playing as the Ireland and every other faction like Scotland, Baron's alliance, The English and Norway has add they're hero. Does Ireland have one he didn't appreared yet and I'm well advance in my campaign???
