    Default New Factions for Kingdoms: Crusades

    Hi,

    I want to create new factions for Kingdoms Crusade Campaign to make it a bit more diversified and historically accurate. For example Principality of Antioch has far too much provinces under its reign and Jerusalem should at least be divided into Kingdom of Jersualem and County of Tripoli...

    I don't know much about modding so I'd be glad if some of you guys told me about the requirements of new factions.
    What I need to know:
    - how to implement graphics, banners, pictures (faction logo)
    - how to allocate specific faction units (maybe copy from other factions and change a little bit)
    - how to change text files appropriately

    Help is welcome since I can imagine creating a mod means always lots of work...

    look at the tutorials in 'tools and tutorials' under mod workshop. there's tons of stuff there for you

    Yes, I've already seen the thread...but I doesn't apply for Total War Kingdoms since many of the required files have been removed or merged with others due to game updates....
    So, if somebody finds a thread or can help me, please post here...

    If you want to simplify things alot, just implement the Moors, and use them as another muslim faction where the Turkish eastern provinces are(thats what I'm going to start on right now). You can call them the "Baghdad Caliphate" . Alot of the necessary files are already in the crusades folder and the missing files can easily be ported from the main m2tw data files. There will still be alot work, but adding in the Moors can save some time(definetly see the tut. on creating new factions using existing ones).
