Where is the Welsh buildings definitions?

ok, I've looked through data\Export_desc_buildings.txt for the Welsh and Irish building and recruitment options .. but cannot find them!??

There's no text files in data directory of Mods\Britsh_Isles\???

I ran the unpack_all bat file .. all seemed to go well. I have Vista if that's relevent?

Additional, i find it strange that CA put all the unit details in the \data directory and not in their own respective mod directories - e.g. \mod\british_isles\data etc. This means all mods unit info are in the one - export_desc_unit.txt file!??

It's due to vista, it probably placed your files elsewhere as far as people have reported (mod\british_isle\data should definately not be empty after an unpacking). Do a search for, like you mentioned, Export_desc_buildings.txt and see where it turns up outside your m2tw directory. Voila, files found, ctrl-x away.

You're right, i had to rerun the batch file .. well, originally i ran unpack_all.bat .. which seemed to to work, unpacking the Animations, FMV, Sounds and World directories in British_isles\data but no files in the data directory itself.. so i just ran Unpack britannia.bat, which gave me the data files.

Now I'm not sure if there's something wrong with that original BAT file .. or Vista! .. I'd hate to think I cannot trust my operating system!!..

You are unsure whether Vista is bad or not? Did the MS PR guys abduct you recently? =) Though the rumormill claims that the coming service pack will actually, oddly enough, fix Vista.

Anyway, glad you got it sorted. Now you will enjoy trying to get it to work without white GUI etc etc. Lotsa posts on that though, have fun. =)
