Thread: Upcoming courses

  1. #21

    Default Re: Upcoming courses

I'm up for anything in regards to tweaking models/UV maps. Texturing or 2d fiddling is fine by me as well. I could use the help in both areas lol.

We have talked about the best way to handle scripting as a class. If we do it thats something I would probably do but it probably wont be the next class. I wont be doing that for a month or more as I have a lot of other stuff going.

For now check out both my scripting tutorial and alpacas script o rama, and get the Ultimate Docudemons, that will give you a really good start on scripting.

Meh, I also ticked mapping and texturing, scripting was a sidenote, as there are far more scripters available then the above two.

When do you expect a new course to begin scholars? I’m looking forward to learning how to mod beyond my meager skills!

I voted for 2d and texturing because it's very important in a mod. It's one of the differences between an excellent and a good mod.

But I also vote for buildings because it's interssing

Prof talked about doing another texture/art class but I dont know exactly what he has in mind. He is taking a couple of weeks off, he just moved across the country and got a new job, so give him some time.

I would like to see a course that teaches the basics on how to create/edit factions. NOT USING THE NORMANS OR SAXONS. This course could also include some basic text editing skills as well.
