Default Qusetion about the Campaign Map!?

    Hey all,

First id like to say i got rtr working and started to play it, im very impressed, good work

My question is that while i was playing i noticed something very strange, invisible walls, one in africa between carthage's empire and egypt and one above bactria. Are these supposed to be there? i cant attack sarmatia because there are a line of trees in the way!?

If they are supposed to be there then could someone tell me which tga file i need to edit to get rid of them because it is really spoiling my experience of this otherwise great mod.

    Thanks alot, Jo5h

Default Re: Qusetion about the Campaign Map!?

I really need to make a pinned post on this `cause I keep writing the replies instead of a simple copy/paste.
    It`s intentional. Shortly:
    1. the one between Carthage and Egypt is there to stop the so called desert war where these two factions - who in reality had nothing against each other - from sending whole armies across the desert against each other. Plus, it helps the Ptolemaics to concentrate on the seleucids.
    2. the one north of Bactria is there becasue Bactria tended to expand that way every time and those provinces are not really worth conquering. It was thought that this way it will concentrate on the seleucids too and give it more chances(maybe).
    3. you are in luck. You don`t need to edit any tga file. There is a small add-on that does exactly that. It should be in the optional add-ons installer. Hopefully that is still around.

EDIT: yeah, MC posted links in the same post with the main RTRPE installer. Closed.
