Hello to all of you!
First of all I must warn you. I am new to this game, and have very little time playing it, so you will probably see me asking very weird questions about Medieval II and the Stainless Steel mod in the future.
Here comes one of these questions:
Correct me, if I am wrong, but as far as I remember, one turn in "Stainless Steel" equals 2 years of game time. The "problem" is, that Characters only age one year each turn (which is kind of annoying), and I don't see a reason for a changing season (<- nice one, isn't it?) in this case.
In the vanilla game, one turn equals half a year, and characters age one year every 2 turns.
Question: Is it possible, to make one turn half a year again, and lower troops movement, raise building times and lower tax incomes, to adjust to the new time scale?
Example (Things are getting strange now, but bear with me): Normally a priest can walk on the map "4 centimeters" in one turn (2 years). Having 1 turn = 1/2 Year, the priest can only walk 1 cm. This way, he can walk "4 cm" in 4 turns, which is 2 years.
Example 2: A town gives me 200 florentines (sp?) taxes each turn (2 years). With 1 turn = 1/2 year it would give 50 florentines.
One more thing:
Thanks to the mod makers (especially Kong Kong, I guess), for this awesome work.
Cheers, mailor.
