Re: navy
you'll have to wait until you can buy a shipwright

Re: navy
this has been driving me as nutty as a squirrel's turd. i take acre in 1121 as the danes and when i check the building browser it says i can't build a shipwright in a city but i can in a stone castle. so i convert to a stone castle and then the browser says the exact opposite.

Re: navy
just look at the building browser and view all buildings, there you can see what you need to upgrade your buldings. This mod is called the long road although it is the worst mod name anyone could imagine on the other hand it is just a long road and you have to wait for your elite army

Re: navy
You can only build ports until rudders are discovered. (an event)
After that, you can build shipwrights.

Re: navy
Rudder event is roughly 1178... so you have some waiting to do, unfortunately.
