    Default Trait question

Can the conditions for traits include certain events having happened/not happened. For LTC 4.0 as i'm having multiple start dates i need to edit the uniquer character ancilliaries so they appear properly as atm they are dependant on turn number.

If they're counter events, yes. Otherwise, no.

I was going to use events in descr_events.txt, but im guessing they aren't counter events.

    No, unless you state so.
I'd create a counter event and then add another event using the campaign script add_events command. This way, you can check the counter but still have other events.

I think I would script it in the campaign_script, its a lot more flexible than descr_strat, and the counter values get saved. Then you can use one counter to fire several event_counters and use the event_counters as conditions in the traits files. Then as alpaca said you can also use add_events and pop up a historical event if you wish.

As a side note on this I tested quite a few of the conditions in the docudemons in triggers and nearly all of them worked.

Well? They're supposed to work as long as you use the right kind of event
