Another Question
Is it possible to make it so when you conquer a city, you gain access to a unit that you can now build anywhere. Like an AoR system, but instead of being limited to recruiting that unit only in that city, you can now recruit it anywhere in your empire.

Re: Another Question
can you actually use faction_capability for recruit lines? I didn't think you could but haven't tried (should test myself I suppose, but feeling lazy!)

Re: Another Question
So, I put faction_capability then whatever faction I want in the recruit line, and then whenever I destroy that faction, I can recruit the unit I want?

Re: Another Question
You place a unique building in the city you want to be the key for the production of the unit, using descr_strat. You make the building unbuildable by setting an impossible condition (probably use the sughdian hidden resource, it always gives false). In that building you list as a faction capability the recruitment of the unit you want. If you so wish, you set one (or more) specific factions as prerequisites too. That will make the faction(s) able to train the unit when the settlement is conquered (not when the original owner faction is destroyed).
