1.03.000 Update Error

Fon't know if this is WWII but I'm trying to load Kingdoms Expansion Pack on to Med II Total War and keep getting the error message "The 1.03.000 update cannot be applied to the 1.00.000 version of the game".

What do I need to do?

Any help gratefully received.

Can yuo do an idiiot's guide for me on how to take it from zip to patch.

Is there anytihng you need to do from 1/2 to get to 1.3?

I had the same problem, but was able to find the patch (under update2) on the disc.

Right click on .zip file and select "extract files here". Assuming you have the .zip file on the desktop, after the extraction is finished, you will find a new folder on the desctop with the executable patch file inside. Just double click that file and the patch will start its application.
