Nah, they're the Mongol rocket mercs you find in the vanilla game, assuming you ever bother to look for mercs in Russia around the time of the Mongol invasion. It's not an easter egg, it's just a standard mercenary unit.

The closest thing I've ever seen to an "Easter Egg" was when I got a Hungarian diplomat named Bela Kun... but that was just a random name generated by the name script.

When I found a settlement called 'Beni Hillal Camp' in the Crusades campaign, I had visions of old fat men being chased around the desert to comedy music. Not sure if that's an Easter egg or just me being weird though...

This is a normal unit from the original game, I'm pretty sure it's even called "Mercenary Rocket Launcher" on the map
