Mayan bugs?

Is it just me or

1] is the militia free upkeep units not working for the Mayans?

2] the ball court says it goes for padded armour but I cannot upgrade?

3]units doesn't get any experience?

I haven't played a Mayan game yet but I will have a look for you now.

Yeah I have just had a quick look at the Mayans and Aztecs and both have the militia unit upkeep problem. It appears as though this may have been intentional as the Aztecs don't have any units that are called "Militia ________". As to the other problems I am not too sure but perhaps again these are intentional as to show how poor the natives actually were martially compared to the Spaniards.

Actually. Maya is the only Native American faction that has "militia" units, so I believe it is just the name, but act normally as other units.

free upkeep doesn't work for the apaches either, but I haven't tried other factions in the americas campaign yet.

i guess, it's a bug (if a militia does not have free upkeep). similar to irish skirmishes not being able to skirmish.

i have been digging deeper into the matter and the free upkeep is missing from both mayan units, so I took the liberty to gave them both the attribute.

IMO it's not cheating just repairing....
