Allright: what do you think is the worst religion that you know about? And maybe the best, if you like any of them. I'm not going to tell you what my opinion in that is, it would make the thread look biased. I like Sikhism. I think like it's policy on beards, and carrying a knife is a good idea, makes it easier to protect yourself. It doesn't teach you to be aggresive, but encourages you to defend yourself. I would say Christianity, because of a big lack of knowledge on the history of the religion itself. Most Christian cant tell you the story of Christianity. And many don't Romans and Greeks wrote the new testament. So they are easy to fool when they they don't know anything, and mostly when they show them to don't look further.

Worst religions = Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, not in that order as all are equally terrible. All promote intolerance by enforcing the ideal of one supreme God, as this leaves no room for others gods or beliefs and each has a different view of their respective God, creating tension amongst one another. Best religion = Hellenic polytheism. Many gods, tolerance towards other cultures with different gods and beliefs. Spawned no religious wars. Inspires people to live life to the fullest.

I think you're quite right when you say they are not equally terrible, I think they complete each other in some ways (Not all)

I think the worst religion though would be satanism, it is a religion designed ONLY to offend and promote conflict with another religion.

The Aztec are at the top of my list, just due to the incredibly savage nature of the rituals. Sure the Romans killed so many animals and humans in their gladiator fights, but that's just their culture, not part of the religion. The Aztecs ritually murdered tens of thousands of people to please a god.
