Not sure whats going on with descr_faction_standing.txt, but that would not effect battles, thast from UAi.

If you are using new factiions, remember you have to turn advisers off.

Is it a campaign battle or custom battle.

Did you install in this order

    SS 4.0
Hot fix 3 (fixes missing weapons)
    SS 4.1
    Nerazzurri fix (fixes sounds)

Copy EDB+ from --- NEW 2 YEARS PER TURN FILES --- for 2 turns per year
Copy UAi files from the Campaign Ai thread.

There is also a descr_regions fix (sets regions to the correct faction) and RC1.3b.

To err is human, but to really foul things up you need a computer.

Er I was tired when I made that post last night so I forgot what else I did. I also added the Phoenix skin pack and your fix to get rid of the reality traits and supply. No new factions either, I have given up on trying to add them myself.

Sorry, by new factions I meant Templars, Kiev-Rus or Aragon, using advisors with these factions causes a CTD.

Ok, as to traits the latest one I posted for Ghost also gets rid of Imp hatched/Egg and Summer/Winter. However if you have the older vesrion, that then I am worried by Supplied by Sea as this should not be triggered.

Open the traits file, Ctrl+F to find SuppliedbySea and add a ; infront of anything to do with it. I would also do that with ImpHatched and ImpEgg, although it may be easier just to delete them and start a new campaign.

Hold on a sec while I check out Phoenix Skins.

Ok he updated the folder structer after Sept1, so hopefully you downloaded after that. I will download and check out, also change to UAI to see if I get the same descr_faction_standing.txt error.

Edit: OK we can ignore the descr_faction_standing.txt errors.
The pheonix pack is textures and tga's so I would have thought either crash to CTD or work fine at start up.

What faction did you start as?

Thanks for that, but you really don't have to mess around with your game for me. I will just suck it up and reinstall for like the 5th time haha.

Post your traits file and I will have a look. But it looks like you may have deleted the traits but not the triggers.
