How patching MTTW2 Eu into Us version

I have the french game but someone brought me the US version of Total War Kingdom ..off course it doesn't work ; is there a way to turn my french game (patch it or what ever) in order to make it work....or do I have to buy a new US game ?

I had the same problem with an Italian version of M2TW. When I try to install kingdoms an error window pops-up saying "it's impossible to install Kingdoms on the italian version of M2TW."

Can anybody help us?

I think this MAY work as i have got the right versions i cannot check it so maybe someone can try it and see, anyways:

goto start -> run -> type "regedit" and press ok
now up comes a scary looking screen
click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
SEGA
Medieval 2:total war
then right click the field language and try changing it to "english"

you may find it different in non English versions of windows (i don't know) but i think thats a way around it. I do not know if you also need to change the localized.pack file but you will have to get hold of that your own way i am afraid due to copyright law

Tips : No need to Repatch 1.1 (english)

My Game Was in french >1.1 patch french >1.2 (international) > 1.3 (international) and than I put The Kingdom
