Gunpowder unit volley fire
I was just wondering, what files and lines I have to edit to make gunpowder units to skip rotating rank fire system and move to system where same rank fires after reloading without moving??

Open up the EDU (descr_export_unit), press ctrl+f, type the name of the unit you want changed and then delete the "fire_by_rank" line.

I'm jsut wondering, what happens if you remove that line? does the second fire right trought the first line or what?

Hmm, I think that after editing, gunners start firing independently, in Road to Jerusalem mod arqubusiers and musketeers fire without ranks and it seems that first and second line are firing only. It is not so cool looking but it makes gunners a lot more usable because firing speed is increased.

When you delete the line "fire_by_rank" the first row will sit down and reload so that the back row can shoot freely.
