Need some help with this.

Ok, so I'm using the DLV mod and I'm playing as Flanders. Flanders doesn't start with all that much. In fact, my slightly modded strat has Flanders starting with 2 generals (1 Leader and one non-family general) and 6 units.. 4 archers and 2 spearmen.

Problem I'm having is that I'm playing on hard and on the second turn the game likes to create a faction leader for the rebels in my land. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem. Just march out, fight, kill, be happy... BUT... he's got 2 silver chevrons himself and each of his units has 2 gold chevrons.. oh and aside from him there's 2 crossbowman, 2 archers, 2 pikemen, 2 sergeants, 1 mailed knight...

Obviously this is a pretty impossible fight! Now I'm not big on cheating... and I won't cheat to give myself an insta win or to give myself more units. However! If anyone knows of a unit to remove his units and then give them back with no chevrons that would be perfect! I've tried about 20 differant stratergies and nothing works... once they breach the stakes the archers place I'm dead, the shield wall from my spearmen breaks, my archers get overrun and my two generals get beat up preety quick because the enemy has alot more experience then me.

Before anyone says just change them in the strat. The only slave units close to my settlements in the strat isn't lead by a named generals, doesn't have that many units, and they aren't that experiences. The game is literly creating him out of nothing!

Can't you just pass by him? If you ignore him he might ignore you back

Already tried that one. If I ignore him then he goes to one of my settlements... each one is the basic first level so he breaches the gate and I'm toasted that way.

Load up on spear militia and prepare for the siege. Send all your men to the breaches and hope for the best. If you lose, then it's fare game. If it's your last city, then keep trying other strats, like gathering all your men, and abandoning the city in looks for a rebel one to conquer and start a new empire of Flanders there.
