What exactly does authority do?
I know that if you've got a king with lots of authority, it's less likely that your generals and captains will rebel.
But are there any other effects of high and low authority?

there are alot more effects on some mods. take stainless steel. if the king has very low authority, a civil war could take place, in which some of your generals will rebel, will not move, and wont leave a city they are in. If a rebelling general is in a city, unrest in the city soars, and the population decreases like crazy.

It boosts public ratings and income in cities, and has an effect on diplomacy.

What about generals with attributes that give influence who aren't king?
