    Default Leaders & Titles

    2 questions.

    1. Do titles for Imperial offices get recycled as attributes when the charracters to which they are curently assigned are elimnated? Or should I take care to transfer the office of "Court Tax Extractor" when its current holder moves into his 60's?

    2. Can extra generals be recruited like in RTR and SPQR?

    sorry for the late reply

    1. yes, the titles get recycled, but we are going to make it easier to happen, as of now it isn't that easy

    2. no, I do not approve of the idea, IMO general's bodyguards should only be for generals. fopr the Romans there are enough equivalent units to the Candidati (Eq stablesiani, Scutarii, and Schola Palatinae)

Thanks for the response, it confirms some assumptions I had on this topic. From what I've seen playing the ERE, there are enough new leaders added through marriages and adoptions that a recruitment option for generals isn't really needed.:hmmm: The other factions are probably also supplied with enough possible recruits that carefull play will ensure that there are enough generals to make each faction work.

I was playing the ERE campaign, and the sassanids invaded Antioch, the governor of Antioch had many ancillaries including the patriarch of Antioch, this governor was killed in Battle,I sent a new family member from Constantinople to replace him,but when he became the governor of Antioch, the patriarch of Antioch wasn't among his ancillaries...!!

getting those ancilliaries aren't instant, he must meet certain requirements like not being a molester of women or something ... though I agree it still needs to be easier
