    Default Successful charges in kingdoms..

    ..are very rare for me.
    Got any tips?
I usually run with cavalry until they are about 3-4 seconds away from the target then double click. The guy screems "chaaarge" then the entire unit makes contact and bogs down as if in quicksand. On occasion they manage to throw one or two guys in the air before getting stuck.

I'm hoping for either a mod or a revelation in the form of a brilliant advice.

Sorry i just noticed i posted in the wrong forum.

Thats what i do, i give them momentum then charge, i though i was clear about that. The problem is that they have no power it seems. I'm gonna try el hamburglo's suggestion.

there is a empirically tested bug (by me) that charges never succeed if target is moving away from you. so if you flank the enemy from behind and you want to charge with cavalry a charging infantry that is moving on your infantry, it wont work =(

thats a major bug coz such charge would decimate enemy! (especially that order spearmen are so hard to beat without a flankcharge)

Increase cavalry mass in descr_mount ?

6 for medium-heavy cav, 7 for heavy and 8 for heavy-armoured works for me. Leave ponies and light at about 3 or 4
