    Icon5 Kingdoms campaign money scripts - do they actually work?

    As a long term modder of campaign scripts in Med II, I'm rather perplexed at the code entries for the CA-inserted AI money scripts in Kingdoms...

    Code:
    	monitor_event FactionTurnStart FactionType england
    		and IsFactionAIControlled
    		and Treasury < -5000
    		
    			add_money england 10000
    During our testing of money scripts in vanilla we discovered that there had to be a comma after the faction's name but before the money award. Well, looking at the various new money scripts in the Britannia campaign, they look like they're not going to work! Based on my knowledge the one above should be:

    Code:
    	monitor_event FactionTurnStart FactionType england
    		and IsFactionAIControlled
    		and Treasury < -5000
    		
    			add_money england, 10000
    Anyone confirm to the contrary?

    Or is it just a case of the Med II console not accepting the first entry but it indeed still works??

    You best check the code empirically.

    Hence-> start playing as england, get your treasury down to -5000 (massive high upkeep units and destroy markets and such to lower your profits).

    when you have -5000 florins, if you don't get 10.000 financial aid, then yes, its wrongly written

    but i believe its ok.

    anyways, you have to check

    These are AI faction only. Thing is, typing them into the console without the comma doesn't do anything and it says the command isn't recognised. Add in the comma and hey presto, it works. You can even see the changes in the financial graphs.

    Does anyone know if the "increment_kings_purse" command also requires a comma?

    drjambo, comment out IsAIControlled, and then indeed start an england campaign and get the economy to -5000. You should see what happens.
