No mods? You didn't reconfigure anything in MTW2? Try a clean install(take out SEGA Folder) make sure you do a search to get rid of anything MTW2. Start over then.
If your paddling up a river and get four flat tires
how many pancakes can you put into a dog house?
Answer: None because snakes do not have arm pits.
Try to make a clean install.
I suggest you do the following:
-uninstall M2(then delete the remaining folders) Remember to back-up any things you consider to be important(save games, preferences...)
-open regedit.
-go to Local Machine/Software/SEGA
-delete the "directory" SEGA
-restart your computer in oder to update the registry
-install M2
-install Kingdoms(this will patch M2 to version 1.3) The patching will last an eternity
-after all are done it should work
Hope this helps. Good luck
I actually have same problem, except the problem is occured at "sound/even.df". It seems it is a file that SHOULD be including the the patch but for an unknown reason it is NOT!![]()
Usualy making a clean intall should work in most cases.
I hope so, even the installation of my MIITW normally crash in the last stage, and when I put the CD back again the program "miraclely" complete installation when I am not even put in disc 2, which the crash occured. I am suspected that the "sound/event.df" is in the crashing part, and because the lack of disc 2 the file does not copy into my folder, which directly stop the installation of the patch, and finally caused my total corruption of Kingdom.
I am extremely sad now!!!![]()
Moved to the Tech department.
Ok, I make a clean installation but same thing still happens again!!! I do not use any mod?! What is wrong about my computer??![]()
It sounds a little cinical, but make a clean install of your XP
probably something is wrong with your system. You should any unnecessary applications and try a clean install. If this does not work then i suggest you install win again, and then m2 + kingdoms
