It was the year 1174 of Our Lord and We, the people of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, ruled over these lands for almost 100 years, but now, a new threat came from Egypt, where a kurdish noble, Salah ad-Din deposed the peaceful Caliph and took control of the richest lands all over Outremer.
We couldn't oppose to his coronation because in that damned 1174 our good King Amalric died, leaving the throne to Baldwin who was only 16.
Thankfully the young Baldwin was as good as His beloved father and raised a big army to conquer the little settlement of Banyas, where a lot of Turkomans fled after haveing raided Galilee.
After 2 years the surrounded Infidels tried to brake the siege but Baldwin was ready for the battle and led his men to the glory.
It was the 1184 of Our Lord when Salah ad-Din, the Anti Christ, threatened our southern frontier with 3 big armies, one of them commanded personally by his younger brother Al Adil.
Few years later came good news at the court of the king in Jerusalem. The 3 most important lords of Europe were coming to help Outremer against the Infidels. These kings were Richard the Lion Heart, Phillip of France and the Emperor Fredrick .

"Not if you do it during one and the same battle"---Sgt. Colon
Maethius the problem is that Egypt have too many troops...and mine are few in comparison to them....but definetly yes, i have more soldiers then Teutonics in your campaign

Anyway....back to the AAR...
...The same year in which the European powers promised to send soldiers to help Outremer our enemy, the mighty Salah ad-Din sent a big army, leaded by his brother Al Adil, to siege our most exposed castle: Kerak.
...Two years later, while our fortress of Kerak was still sieged, good news came from Acre; in fact Richard, king of England landed there with a strong army to help the Christians against the Infidels.
Unfortunately our beloved king, Baldwin, could'nt receive his guest because he was leading the army against the infidels who were siegeing Kerak.
The battle was undecided until Baldwin himself killed Al Adil.
When the battle ended Baldwin, known all over the world for his chivalry ordered every prisoner to be converted to the real Faith, but many refused and so he ordered their execution.
Salah ad Din wanted revenge and sent 4 big armies to storm the fortifications of Ascalon, in an attempt to capture the city and to demoralize the people of Outremer.
