My old king just refuses to die at 84...... it's really screwing up my plans for a new faction heir, been eyeing this pretty french princess to marry to him and my poor diplomats have been stalking her for 20 years since the king was 64![]()

I think that the limit is about 120
Nor sure for how long each general/familymembers live but I've experience that generals (Dudes i use to campaign and battles) usually dies earlier then the once just sitting as govenor. Not sure if this is just from my experince, but its worth a try to send your king on some campaign, maybe he falls ill?![]()
urgh after waiting till he was 96. i finally got fed up and sent him suiciding into a full stack of egyptians. but the damage was already done...... my new faction heir is 56 years old with no children yet and my new king is 70+ with one foot in the grave. i should have done the suicide 30 years ago...... now i am seriously contemplating starting a new campaign![]()
my current king, whois my first king is 81, my factor heir is a young pup at 60+.... even his offspring are in their late 30's, because of this, I sent my king off to south america with a full stack to cuba, which they just landed, 2000 strong with troops who about to desert, but atleast my king (should) die in this battle.

I am playing as the British, and King Henry is still alive at age 105, outliving two of his grandchildren.
His heir is 79, and has 5 children, with the desired future heir in his late 40s and unmarried.
