For Apache Players

I restarted my apache campaign, due to a few major errors (making WAY to many people mad) Well I am on turn 55 and have got the "Faction destroyed" twice. But I don't have any cav units, I do have thunder apache units. My question is how many times do the French come? And I have all the untied states and still no stinking cav units! Why?

I don't they will come again. I did the same as you. I killed New France off anf thought crud only got thunder braves. need to get mounted apaches and mounted braves but how? England had just landed but couldn't find them and Spain was getting owned by the Mayans. I have just started again now and will be leaving the French alone until I get everything ( I wiped them out by killing all their leaders by mistake). Don't know how long you have to wait for Onde's Men though!

French just keep coming in my Apache campaign. I have wiped them out 3 times already, but another group just landed and is awaiting their doom in the jungle of modern-day Alabama/Luisiana. After a few turns since defeating the first French expedition, I got the 'thunder-braves' message. After a few turns since defeating the third French expedition, I got the mounted apache message.

I got them both after fighting two armies, both of them had 2 or more mounted/musketeer units.

I think the French are suffering from a severe case of Mongol syndrome; they refuse to stay dead. Me? I was lucky. They only caped one province, and a turn later I ambushed their main line with a huge force just as they were trying to cross the Mississippi. I won a Heroic victory and killed their last family member, so I got the whole "Faction Destroyed" song and dance and they lost all their remaining stacks. Now, however, they seem to be spawning small explorer forces just outside of the Comanche lands at regular intervals of five or six turns. They're easy enough to take care of- their Captain counts as their faction leader, and I've got a couple assassins waiting to end his career and destroy the faction again- but it's a major pain and I don't know if they ever stop coming.

As for cavalry, I dunnno why you haven't gotten any yet. I was killing Spanish conquistadors in north eastern Mexico when I got 'em... took me about four battles to capture enough horses.

well two battles done, I better get my mounted. I even attacked and foght the spanish who OWNED me because almost 80% of their army was cav.. Still no luck

Around what time do the French and English come? I'm on turn 48 in a Mayan campaign, and I've neither heard nor seen anything of them.
