Quetion regarding the forts.

From what I have seen forts are only availble at the Britania campaign...I tried to build a fort in another campaign by moving the generall to open ground and then opening the building window but it only shows watch tower.

And even in the britania campaign I only get the forts that come when I start, I cant build new ones....
So my question is, is it supposed to be so, or am I a nub and cant find out how?

It is supposed to be so, each campaign has its own "unique" feature.

They're set in descr_strat, so it doesn't look as if they're buildable [edit - at a first glance, that is].

Meh, now I really gotta know - guess I'll unpack the whole shebang tomorrow and find out.

Forts cost 2500 to build in the Crusade campaign but I haven't played that one yet.

Yeah the 2500 gold forts in the crusade campaign I was really expecting to be stone, considering they were 5x the cost of regular forts.

Nope, same old log fort, at least for the Byzantines.
