Weren`t the gold armor upgrades generated by temples only in vanilla RTW? `cause I think that is why they are missing in RTR. It was judged that priests can`t improve armor so it was removed all together. That`s how I remember it at least.![]()
Don't think so. There were 3 levels of blacksmith in vanilla and the top level gave gold I thought. Been so long though that I may have forgotten. The temple upgrades were sometimes rediculous. Macedon getting +5 missille weapons etc was huge.

STOP EXPLOITING=CAPITALISM= INTEREST SLAVERY!
In every porduct you buy you pay about 40% interest in the price.
Debt creates money. Money is created by dept.
It was impossible to get gold upgrades in vanilla without temples, and in RTR temples doesn't give bonuses like that. End of story.

i think its available only with gold experienced unit
A little bit offtopic: do the different temples still have different advantages too? As far as I can tell from playing with Bactria, all temples are the same, no matter to what god/entity they are aligned.
I think in vanilla it was different. Was the feature completely removed? If so, why? Wouldn't it be realistic that a temple for a god of merchants would increase economy etc.?
Different temples give different priest retinues. Your mentioned temple of trade god are giving a retinue "priest of ..." which adds economical bonuses such as +2 management. It's just an example.
IMO it would be unrealistic if temples would give bonuses such as "increase in trade goods" becouse temple itself is not a forum or a market. However priest who studied at this temple knows a lot about trade so your governor has him as advisor and therefore you have more income.![]()
Well, the way I saw it was like this: the local community of a temple would do their best, to also increase the 'material'/'real' influence of their entity. Lets say the community for a god of merchants, they would support local economy, they would also lure more merchants into town etc.
However, the idea about priest retinues is a lot better I guess. At least it really makes sense and cannot be questioned (basically). Hehe I didn't realized it but now I get it... I already wondered why most of my governers have priest retinues.![]()
I see the people of RTR really know what they are doing.![]()
