Problem with Medieval II, with Radeon 9800Pro and TFT 22"
Hello to the forum!
I have this system: Athlon XP 2.6, 1 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128MB!
I used to play a lot Medieval 2 with my 19" CRT without a problem!
I just bought a new TFT monitor Samsung 226BW 22" ! After a "format" i instaled again the game! I patched it also to v1.2! I didnt install the expansion! The monitors resolution is 1680x1050 --- to heavy for my system!
Anyway i began the game with 1024 res and the game in the world map worked fine! But when it was to start the battle the monitor turns off like there is no signal from the graphic card! the game doesnt freez, the sound is working but the monitor turns off!
I changed the resolution to 1680 (as the best res for the tft) and degreesed all the other settings! changed to billenear, no vsync, no details and etc... but still the same!
I unistalled Medieval 2 and instaled it again without patch 1.2, but still the same!
Can anybody tell me whats going on pls!!
Aaaa, i forgot to say that i use DVI input to the monitor! i changed it to analog vga but still the same!
