America Campaign

I wasnt that excited about the Americas campaign when I first heard about it but I really wanted to play as the Apaches. However, the campaign sucked. It took 4 years to reach each settlment and the battles were boring. The Apaches only had 3 different units!

Whats everyone elses opinion of the America campaign?

Not interested in that campaign so I didn`t even install it.

If your the Apache, you have to fight the Europeans, and win battles against them in order to get more units.

I finished my campaing with Spain. I like the Americas campaing. After you get your economy rolling it will start to be little too easy.

You need to A) Fight Europeans to steal their technology, and B) Make lots of melee and missile units in order to unlock more advanced ones. Let me know how you feel about the campaign now that you actually know how it works.

Playing as the Mayas i had great fun.
But its kinda easy to make money.

Playing as the spanish now. It's fun, but hardly a challenge. You can expect your men to kill the enemy at least 3-1. Even with their units being less than half as large as the enemy units, you are basically unstoppable if you field a full army of Spanish troops, especially if you have cannons.

And the Spanish units don't cost enough in upkeep. Keeping a legion of troop

I try to restrict myself and have at least half of the stack as native mercenaries, usually 6 melee and 4 archers.

And the Apaches are fun to play, but it takes a while to get them upgraded.
