    Default Kingdoms descr_campaign_db question

    Here is some interesting settings on the descr_campaign_db.
    There are new values , and as i understood there controlling the AI
    Can someone can explain exactly what they do?

    A guess from me: They determine the strength the AI wants to have over another faction before trying to attack. For a siege for example it'd like to have something like 3:1 before it assaults or so.

    I don't know, this is descr_campaign_db. I think it might relate to battle odds calculations for autoresolve and stuff like that.

    It's campaign db, yes. That is what holds global parameters.
    And the section seems to be called "ai" from what the OP said.

    If your theory was true I think it'd be pretty unlikely that the attacker should get a lower odd to win in a field battle than in a sally, or during a crusade. However, if they're indeed responsible to adapt AI decisions somewhat, that would make sense because when you're besieged, your army will get weaker each turn so waiting doesn't make sense, and in crusades the same is true to an extent because you're very unlikely to get any reinforcements in the holy land.
    For ambush, it's the same really. You have an advantage so you could afford to attack without an extra edge in army strength.
