MTW2 Italian Version + Kingdoms English version

Only to be sure...are they 100% compatible?

Because i ordered the english version of Kingdoms....they are both boxed games...

Got bad news. I tried to install the english version of Kingdoms on italian MTW2. It doesn't work. Got a message saying it can't install Kingdoms on italian version of game.

I don't know if there any way to fix this

Sunnybob: Was it the UK or US version of kingdoms? I've had a similar question recently and from what I've learned, the US version only contains the English files, which could result in the error whilst the UK, French, Italian, German and Spanish versions are all the same press (i.e. they contain all the languages on one DVD).

So I guess it should work with an UK version but not the US.
I successfully installed a German copy over an UK install of M2TW, which resulted in an English installation of Kingdoms (it gave me all the other options in the setup, btw...).

Try to change the language of MTW2 in your registry. Helped me install the english version of kingdoms on top of my german MTW2 version.

Sorry, it is not my game. I was trying to help a friend. I suppose it was a USA version.

@Crusader. How do you edit the language registry, please?

Today arrived my Uk versiona nd it's fully comaptible with italian mtw2 because in it there are different languages(spanish,english,italian,german)...

Click on start -> execute. Type in regedit -> OK. In the left column choose HKEY_LOCAL_MASCHINE, -> Software. Look for SEGA\Medieval 2. Now right click on language in the right column to change the value to english. Hope it works for you too!
