Default What are the feutures of the American Campaign and is it any good ?

What is included in the american campaign eg factions, units etc
Remember the Conquests of Trajan/Reign of Trajan mods ?

I'm back to create the ultimate work, I'm picking up where I left off, and now this mod will grow to its real potential.

I would say its probably the best one out of the four. The change of pace is really great, going from zweihanders to tomahawks. The factions are the Apachean Tribes, the Chimecheca Tribes, Aztecs, Tarascans, Tlaxcalans, New Spain, New France, New England and the Mayans.

I suggest you try it, its great fun.

If you play New Spain you have to get more reputation to unlock buildings. In the beginning you can build a road, a church and a brothel. Once you become a lord you can build a grain exchange and so on. Once you can build harbors (in every little village as well) you are really earning money.

It is almost the same with units. You can train a limited amount of conquistadores in the beginning (town wall) so you have to keep them alive. Once you have a certain level of reputation you can train loads of them (as you need them).
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

I quite like the 'reputation' system in the Americas campaign. I still found that as Spain I got loads of money and that access to the Spanish units was a bit too easy. I'd prefer it if the requirements were higher, like maybe the 'culture' feature in the Britannia campaign. Still, maybe the lower requirements are needed to help the AI Spanish faction...

Another nice feature is 'stealing technology' for the North American factions. In short, if one of these factions wins a battle against an enemy that uses e.g. musketeers, it can build musket troops afterwards.

You'll also see expeditions from other nations (France and England) and occasionally you'll see additional Spanish armies appear on the map. The pop-up screen mentions a target (e.g. the Mayas) but I don't know if there are any particular missions connected to this.
