Alas! Anyone know the New Spain building system??

I am playing New Spain now and I kindly don't understand how their building system work... So how can I build higher level of building?? Do I need to conquer a certain amount of land first??

Your faction leader needs to gain 'prestige' first, and get higher titles bestowed upon him for his good work - then the higher buildings become available. Until that time it's mercs.

Not so unrealistic, you cannot walk onto a new continent and just open a tincan with homegrown soldiers.

Doing several missions (specifically the "Spanish Consulate" ones) and conquering lands is the way to gain prestige.

OK, but I conquered 7 provinces and did three missions the building still remain in level 1.

Thanks, but my question is what requirements are needed in order to get to higher level... Do I need to conquer a specified number of provinces? Or do I need to complete a special mission??

When you take over provinces do you choose to convert them or exterminate them? Maybe converting gives you a bonus because that's what I did and I beat the campaign.

I did around 2 missions before I gained the next rank. One was to gain trade rights with someone and the other to take a rebel settlement.

That is strange... I did three mission, obtained a trade right and conquered two provinces, and another five extract province. All the Spanish King allows me to build is trader!!!

You sure that's New Spain?

They can build a port at village level.
