Crusades(turns)

My friends got a English campaign going right now, and he asked me a good question: how long do you have too wait to ask the Pope to call a Crusade after one ends?

Thats a good one but so far it has never been the same. I have had a crusade called 5 turns later and sometimes I had to wait over 20 turns. Its never been the same. 10 I think would be a good average.

Thanks for the response, we thought it was about 5 to 10, but weren't sure.

The time in between crusades is defined in descr_campaign_db.xml (unpacking required) in the lines :

Yeah, 20 is right. It always takes me a while before I can call the next crusade, which is a nuisance but helps keep me tame and not ruling the world!

Alot of the times it sure doesn't seem like 20 turns.
