You have to rhyme first. Sorry.
I used to think the 1.2 patch was fine
but now my interest has begun to decline
the enemy A.I just grinds
it's all a waste of my time
wont you help me guys wont you give me a sign?
tell me what additions I can expect to see
tell me what comes with the mighty 1.3
you gotta do this for me I'm sure you'll agree
cos denying me info is just plain silly
No idea though I assume it add the AI army control at the very least.
Working on:
Kingdoms: Vindicated
Bellum Crucis: an Italian Mod for MTW2
Crusader TW Leader
Under the Patronage of Asterix
Makes the original M2TW compatible with Kingdoms for Multiplayer. Beyond that you'll have to get Unspoken Knight's unofficial retrofit mod in order to have ANY of the fixes, changes, and rebalancing that came with Kingdoms in the original Medieval 2 Grand Campaign. CA didn't include any of it in 1.3, but obviously even their employees thought they should have.
It's been asked many times before - but hey, points for originality in this request.

So, in other words, the Kingdoms expansion pack, including the 1.3 patch, does virtually nothing for the Grand Campaign?

No, apparently adding and testing changes and fixes for the Grand Campaign would have taken too long. Although it seems that a member of the CA staff managed to do it in his spare time to make an unofficial mod...
I guess just make sure the game would not fall apart... which happends in my game...
If you explore Kingdoms DVD1, under the update3/main/english folder, theres the 1.3 readme.

Nice, big changelog, eh?![]()
I'm kinda disappointed. Wasn't there previously talk about the 1.3 patch improving the gameplay of the normal grand campaign? I know many people say that CA are under no obligation to make these patches, but in the modern day pc day era this type of thinking no longer applies. Nowdays pc games are routinely released before they are finished to maximize profit margins because they know they can fix them with patches. Patches have now become a standard in the industry.
