In case anyone is wondering my ability to host, here's snapshot of my my speed from a couple well-known sites, I normally host 5k games on default to large unit sizes between 4 or 6 players with little to no lag. I've hosted 8 player games with very little trouble as well when gamespy is running smooth.

My specs:


AMD Turion 64 mobile
2.41 Ghz 2.00 GB RAM
Dual GeForce Go 7900 GS 256MG with SLI enabled

I maybe able to make a few exceptions now then so we'll see. I play a lot of 5k to 12.5k

I also like playing "All" era without late units.

Which late units exactly do you object to?

I'm mostly interested in playing 10g all crusades.

Only on some occasions forfeit powder and renaissance units with the bare full plate armors

But really I'll play anything at this point I just really need a game heh...

Please excuse this bump as I am finding it desperately hard to find people to play Kingdoms battles with. The few people we had here seemed to leave with Thompson and so now if I can get logged in it's quite hard to find anyone playing Kingdoms let alone 1.5.

SO, if you are interested in playing Kingdoms battles or any other Kingdoms mods you might enjoy. Please by all means speak up I would really like to feature some battle reports here again.

Since my original post I've had an increase in speed. Right now it's running a little slower, but I can get boost of up to 20 Mb down and 2 up.

The gamespy problem killed MTWII online for me (there's just too few people on Kingdoms). But if someone would hit me up on xfire I might be able to play (I need to start using xfire more ). I'll try to be logged on as much as I can this weekend.

Well here's the deal, it takes 20 to 30 tries to get logged in M2 on average, Kingdoms it doesn't happen as often and in rare instances you can get right in to both. So what I purpose is to fire up Xfires periodically between Sunday and Tuesday and I should be able to catch you online for a match.

Sorry was off yesteday, I forgot this is my B-day weekend so had to do a little celebrating. I'll be around most of today and should be around tomorrow for a bit
