Teutons have the coolest models!![]()
Ritterbrüders! That was about 5th time i mention them

But they are just über cool.
I like OTT character designs, but his model isn't of amazing quality (maybe slightly lower settings when the screen was taken?) and the jet-black armour takes him away from uber-badass-Teutonic-grandmaster territory and into Dungeons-and-Dragons-Lord Morcruel-Bonerend-the-Blood-Crazed territory.
OTT means? Pardon me.
They look very überish.

from what I can gather concerning the order the likeness of the hochmeister in the game is not too far off from the reality of the matter.no more feared visage on the field than that of the order and its men,and surely with the nigh demonic imagery that comes forth like a strike from the left hand of God that is held by the bruder, the Hochmeister must surely appear as the eminent figure upon the field...this being said,I think it is perfectly in context.
seems completely realistic to me, wether the hochmeister wore it or not, armor of this magnatude was worn during the timeframe of the teutonic campaign.
(polish-lithuanian hussar armor)![]()
Erm already thought those were a bit ornate for the time (same with the Obersturmbahngruppenfuhrer), more like 16th century.
They are. Those hussars were formed in 1503, not 1285.![]()
He looks scaryI havn't played that campaign yet
. will do tomorrow tho

I still hate how the armour would be fine if it wasnt for the fact that its a few hundred years too early. While his helm is more or less fitting the body armour, the shoulder guards and leg guards look like Gothic armour.
The problem is that CA used an presumably historically accurate depiction of an 13th century helmet in combination with a far later depiction of Hermann von Salza, wearing gothic armour, so actually no, the helmet is not fitting the body armour at all:
But who cares? It looks nice & the campaign is fun...

The Hochmeister certainly is cool, but everytime I use him in a battle, he ends up getting killed through fierce fighting. =/
