Im having a prob, Im importing a campagain map from one mod to another and Im getting a CTD when loading the new campagain, the log looks as follows

Any ideas, where Im going wrong ??

what's going on with the lines in the descr_regions file mentioned in the error log?

Ive removed a faction, they were still set in that file have corrected that now, still CTD.

Error log now looks like this. Im lost with the error log, as I dont know what the 'normal' errors are

I have copied across all map and settlement related files, and modified the desc_strat to remove the extra faction. Game allows you to choose faction in a new campaign, then loads up to the final bar on the loading screen then CTDs.

For a start, that aint too good.

We need more info. What exactly are you trying to do (Ii.e. what map and what are it's features)? What files have you edited and deleted in order to try and get this too work? Have you changed the text files?

Removing the faction from desr_strat isnt good enough. There are probably references to that faction all over the place, you need to get them all.

Something is still referencing it. The line in descr_regions is the default regions owner, all other factions suffer a penalty. It is still looking for formosans but cant find that faction and sets default to england.

The music types file determines what music plays at what time for a faction, formosans must sill be listed there because its looking for it.

If you have removed the references to the faction then it wont show up in the new error log. Recheck all that stuff, run the game and post the new log.

Regarding the low memory error. Are you using a cfg file that came with the mod or are you using a cfg file you changed to work with the mod?

Hi GreeneyedDevil,
Im going to go back a step and try again. I will report once I have tried this. My basis requiredment is I want to merge stainless steel onto the fantasymap from Gundugs otherworld. Im gonna play around with it over the next couple of days and see where I get too.
