Aagh, can't wait. Please post it! I went to the stores yesterday to buy Kingdoms and even though release date had passed it would take them till wednesday to get it.

It is some time in the 13th Century and the world is changing rapidly. Our Irish brothers are on the leash of the English and our Scottish brothers are being raided by the Vikings and there is too much space between us, killing the hope of any friendship or alliance. Or is it too late for friendship?

At this stage in our respective histories, we can only hope for the best. While the Irish have no choice but to play servant to the English and the Scottish have no choice but to fight to their death and hope for a miracle to save them--we will do our part to destroy the English.

Our first order of duty is to liberate our lands from the English.

We first trap in the English so they CANNOT escape. Time will tell before they are devoured by our power.



And by the guidance of our Lord, Cardiff is liberated!

Oh children, you MUST gather for I have news! I have great and awful news for my Celtic brothers and sisters. But I also have awful and great news for the English commoners. But I am a Celt and I will tell it as it is, as I see it!

The great news is that King Edward has just departed for a Crusade to the holy lands. Every Celt MUST bring out his Bible and pray that the Crusade is prolonged on our behalf, though it probably won't work, eh! Lest I forget, the
news does get better; the Baron's have revolted, oh yes we are thanking our Lord for this revolution! Oh, wait, there is more; rumors from Scotland has it that a young lad by the name of William Wallace has emerged. From the talk, it seems he is a mere myth, but we can only pray that he is real. If I didn't mention this, London has fallen to the forces of the Welsh army! The Lord is certainly on our side today.

I know you weren't expecting much, and it won't sound like much, but the awful news is certainly a great load for the entire people's of Britannia to bear. King Edward is back from his successful Crusade, and with him is a massive army of Templar Knights of all ranks and units and he will not hesitate to abuse us with the power of the Catholic Church.

No, actually, this is the only Britannia AAR.

thats only cuz im too busy playing to write one.

I just whiped England off the face of the earth, my difficuty set to VH/VH lol, turn 30 or 40 and they are ALL dead. every last man... I just defeated Edward in a fort... his men had better experience, and his men were in general better than mine. it was 2200 welsh (3/4ths archers, 6 units of spearmen and those 2 handed axeman, and 2 units of culverin, and 1 unit of mortar.) vs his 18 or 1900 UBER troopers. I lost alot of men in that 2 FULL HOURS of hand to hand combat, but my constant arrow fire, and my initial bombardemnt bled them enough to allow my men to carry the day with less than 45% casualties, while i killed the English... to the man! no prisoners either. hehehe, cool thing was my General actually enganged Edward in single combat, as both had lost their bodyguards, and both met outside the fort. my general dueled him for about 5 minutes before he finally gutted the English hero, Edward.

only problem is now i have the scots to worry bout... and they are almost twice and big as me!!! lol, but then again, so was England.

sry for hijacking. lol, anyways, can u put captions next to ur pics? would greatly increase the depth, as apposed to just clumping them in at the end and letting us guess as to what they pertain to.

btw, how did u expand faster than the scots, and how did u get soooo muuucchhhh money??? im only hitting like 10k at MOST, cuz im always having to replenish my armies, and always trying to build up my economy.

BomberBoy: I found it really easy, even at the Hard/Hard difficulty, to take so much land in so little time. Its got less to do with skills and more with speed; I just pumped out as many troops as I could and built a behemoth number of castles.

I have enough money so that when I'm ready to take the Irish island, I'm sending 30 full stacks----yeah you heard it!
