    Look in your file-system under ...\Rome - Total War\ibfd\preferences

    There is a file called preferences.txt

    Look for this line
    UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:FALSE

    Change it to
    UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD:TRUE

    That should prevent RTW from delaying the reinforcements.

    Default CTD during AI's turn sometimes

    I'm playing the Berbers, and sometimes it CTD during the AI's turn, and when I start it again, it's fine until two turns later. Any ideas on how to fix it?

    Hi Baalite,
    Something is wrong here...It shouldn't do this at all...Can you try re-installing the mod?

    for some reason. Anyway, yes I do have BI 1.6 with a clean folder(although I do have mod folder installed, but they don't modify the original folders), and I also re-installed it as well. Can you link me to the newest download of it?

    Here is the downloadings for IBFD 7.03, the latest version of what is now known as IBRR ( INVASIO BARBARORUM - RUINA ROMAE ). We're currently working on the next installment, v.8.

    Yeah. I had the script turned off, and It was fine for about 6 turns, and then it crashed again.

    May I ask if you've installed BI 1.6? Are you using XP, Vista or W7? Using Steam?

    Generally speaking, if you have a clean unmoddified BI 1.6 properly installed, I'd say that you should try to install IBFD again and see if it works.

    Remember that you don't have to uninstall your original RTW/BI, just delete the IBFD folder and install it again.

    I didn't activate the script, and it was fine for a while, but it just CTDed again

    I have a question, not sure if this is the right place but it involves this mod. I just wanted to move the factions around a little bit. I successfully transplanted the romano british outside of brittania. No problems yet. I gave the island to the imperium constantii. Nothing yet. I changed the names of the characters within the romano faction and now an army seems to spawn back in brittania in an attempt to sack/retake londinium. This then ctd. Anybody know what is spawning this army? it may be from my own faction but it crashes too quick for me to tell who it belongs too. (I don't watch the AI moves so the fact that I see this army pop up leads me to believe its mine, I'm no longer near that part of the world so I shouldn't see whats going down there) It happens after my first turn is over, around the free peoples turn and my next turn. Thanks!

    was wondering if it had anything to do with those 2 family members, Caratacus Sanctus and Sennianus Sanctus under that defending the limes entry in descr_strat? Instead of renaming them I just deleted them and any references I saw in that file. Bad idea? I know there was a reference to them in that IBFD file in the script folder but I removed that too.

    Hi Confusicus Maximus and welcome here to IB

    The RB spawn is something left over from the original RTW-BI expansion.
    Its hard coded to spawn a random RB emerging army(and thus faction) when a British city is sieged and captured that has the hidden resource Britain in it. You can stop this from happening by changing that hidden resource to something like brit. I believe their are 3 cities with such the hidden resource London being one of them.

    Hiya Riothamus, I wanna thank you for the help. I'm going to keep working with that now to see if it stops the CTD. I did change that line to brit and it still crashes. Maybe I am attacking the wrong thing, one thing that confuses me is this. I changed the romano names from their initial nameset and just made them a copy of the eastern empire. Then I added a few new names to the list and changed the family tree to match the Hierarchy of Galerius under Diocletian in the eastern provinces. While they are still in britain this works fine. When I moved the faction to Illyrium it no longer works (crashes during the free people turn). But if I moved the faction to Illyrium and leave the names alone it works fine. Any thoughts?

    If you change the britain hidden resource to brit make sure you do this to all of them in the descr_regions, and export_descr_buildings...if you haven't already. Did it stop the spawning RB army from happening? It crashes after the first turn? julianus heraclius Did something similar to what your trying to do..maybe give him a shout, I'm sure he can help you.
