Hi
I've created a stack of files which enable the Cinematic editor in Kingdoms.
It contains six *.cfg and six *.bat files. One pair for each expansion mod (americas/british_isles/crusades/teutonic) + the original Medieval II CineEd files.
How to use:
- Extract the archive into your Medieval II Total War folder (usually C:\Program Files\Medieval II Total War )
- Open the *.cfg file of your specific mod (americas/british_isles/crusades/teutonic or m2tw) and set the paths of the replay file, camera, mod and capture_tga dir to the path you have Medieval II installed in. Additionally, you have to change Replay.rpy into the file name of your replay.
- For help/how to use the editor once you have it started look here. This is a developer tutorial. You can use this too, but you have to modify it the way I did in my files.
Download the file here.
If you have more questions regarding the CineEd, look here.

I have not bought Kingdoms yet, so I'd like to know a bit about the cinematic editor of it. Has someone already tried the cine ed with patch 1.3/Kingdoms? Is it just the same as with the original M2 or has it improved or even dropped?![]()
Oh and sorry if someone already asked that![]()
